Most cities take on a totally different character at night.
During the day, they’re staid, businesslike, alive but not lively. People are at work, wearing serious faces and carrying serious briefcases to serious meetings.
But night is a different time. It’s a time for play, for romantic outings, for viewing paintings of light and color against the night sky.
Lovers and loners alike stop to admire the view, the city skyline a monument to ambition and progress.
I always love the look of a city at night.
Too bad I never seem to remember my tripod.
